The Cosmic Cushion Meditation Cushion may be the most comfortable meditation cushion available. The built-in slop helps create and maintain a comfortable upright posture during meditation. The side extensions help to support the upper thigh and prevent numbness in the legs. The zippered cover is made of durable cotton twill fabric and is removable and washable. This Cosmic Cushion is filled with Buckwheat Hulls (the outer shell of the buckwheat grain). The fill is contained in linen fabric so the cover can be removed. The Buckwheat Hull fill conforms to the shape of the body to provide a solid, grounded feeling. A zippered opening, allows you to adjust the firmness and height of the cushion. The Travel Size is identical to the Lowloft size, but with shortened extensions to fit more easily in luggage. The TRAVEL SIZE Cosmic Cushion is recommended for persons shorter than 5' 6", less than 150 pounds, or with a high level of flexibility.
